Please read before your appointment.
These policies apply to all bookings at Authentix Colonic & Wellness Clinic in Braddon, Canberra, and to ARCTIA training enrolments.
Cancellations
48-hour cancellation notice required.
Please take note of your appointment details at the time of booking. We ask that you don't rely solely on your complimentary text reminder. You will receive your text reminder 72 hours before your scheduled appointment. This allows 24 hours to notify us of any changes, rescheduling, or cancellations you may need to make. Any appointment changes, rescheduling, or cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will fall under the following policy:

Day prior to your appointment: $100 fee or 50% of the service fee, if the booked service is less than $100

Day of appointment reschedule/cancel or no show: incur the full - service fee.

Arriving Late
What happens if you arrive late.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we may not be able to complete the full session. The session will still be charged at full price. This ensures that the client following you begins on time.
If you are running late, please call ahead — we will do our best to accommodate where possible.
health disclosure
Disclosing health conditions before booking.
Clients are required to disclose any relevant health conditions at the time of booking and on arrival. This includes (but is not limited to): recent surgery, pregnancy, active inflammatory conditions, current medications, and any gastrointestinal disorders.
Failure to disclose a relevant health condition may result in the session being cancelled at full charge. A health intake form is completed at your first appointment. If you are unsure whether a condition affects your suitability for treatment, please contact us before booking.

Accepted payment methods and deposits.
Payment can be made in clinic by card or cash at the time of your appointment.

A 50% deposit is required to secure bookings for cosmetic tattooing, I.V vitamin drips, and new client colon hydrotherapy appointments.
Deposits are non-refundable if your appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice.
For ARCTIA Training, a 50% enrolment deposit ($3,000) is required to secure your place in the course.
Medical Disclaimer
Scope of services.
The treatments offered at Authentix are wellness and beauty services, with the exception of IV vitamin infusions, anti-wrinkle consultations, and medical-grade micro-needling, which are administered by a Registered Nurse.
Colon hydrotherapy, infrared sauna, and beauty services are not medical treatments and do not replace medical advice or diagnosis. Consult your GP before commencing any treatment if you have an underlying health condition. Outcomes from all treatments are not guaranteed and vary between individuals.
ARCTIA Training
ARCTIA Foundation & Advanced Course policies.
The 50% deposit required to enrol in the ARCTIA Foundation Course is non-refundable. The balance is due 14 days before the course commencement date
Cancellations within 30 days of course start are non-refundable. Cancellations prior to 30 days will receive a credit toward a future intake, subject to availability.
ARCTIA's Certificate of Course Completion is a private vocational credential delivered in partnership with the Global Professional Association for Colon Therapy (GPACT), an international professional association serving the global colon therapy profession. The qualification is not nationally recognised or accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) unless expressly stated on the relevant course page.

-Advanced injectable treatments and IV vitamin drips are medical procedures performed by a Registered Nurse, who practices in accordance with AHPRA requirements and all applicable professional and regulatory standards.
-Colon hydrotherapy, infrared sauna and other wellness therapies offered at Authentix are complementary services designed to support overall wellbeing. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent medical conditions and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice. If you have an underlying health condition, please consult your GP or treating healthcare professional before commencing any treatment.
-Our Professional skin lightening system is designed to reduce excess pigmentation and restore the skin to its natural tone—it is not intended to lighten the skin beyond its natural biological potential. Results vary depending on genetics, skin type and the cause of the pigmentation. The treatment aims to improve uneven pigmentation and promote a more even, balanced skin tone.
